MEET ALINA BELLCHAMBERS
Alina Bellchambers makes use of her degree in psychology by writing twisty, suspenseful, and seductive thrillers that delve into dark themes of murder, manipulation, and obsession. She is the author of ONE OF HIS (The Collector Series) coming January 2027 from Thomas & Mercer.
Inspired by her experience with neurodivergence and ‘masking’, Alina wrote THE ORDER OF MASKS and THE WEIGHT OF CROWNS, an epic romantic fantasy duology featuring strong female voices, enemies-to-lovers romance and high stakes, where you never know who is going to survive – or what the cost of their survival might be. Published by Pan Macmillan and Hodderscape, THE ORDER OF MASKS became a national Dymocks and indie bookstore bestseller, while THE WEIGHT OF CROWNS was selected as one of three finalists for the RuBY Award (Romantic Book of the Year) in Speculative Fiction (Australia and New Zealand).
Alina grew up in her family's bookstore and now writes on a hobby farm in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia. When not typing in her study and drinking copious amounts of tea, Alina enjoys connecting with readers, hiking with her feisty dog Scamp and being involved in the creative arts. Most recently she acted in Hilltop Hoods’ music video The Gift and acclaimed horror film Bring Her Back.
