Alina grew up in her family's bookstore and now writes on a hobby farm in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia. When not typing in her study and drinking copious amounts of tea, Alina enjoys connecting with readers, hiking with her feisty dog Scamp and being involved in the creative arts.
An active presenter and speaker, Alina is a frequent panelist at national pop-culture conventions and writing festivals across the country. Alina has received invitations for national television interviews, and has been featured in major newspapers, national and metropolitan radio networks, and leading literary podcasts. Her recent acting appearances include the role of Constable Kira Gray in the acclaimed A24 horror film Bring Her Back and a character role in music video The Gift, the lead single for Hilltop Hoods’ studio album, Fall from the Light. On social media, she has built a cross-platform community of over 50k followers, with her content generating multi-million views annually across Instagram and TikTok.
